Goldheart Assembly

The guys in London-based six-piece Goldheart Assembly have made a gem of an album. with lovely harmonies, musicianship second to none, use of traditional instruments like Glockenspiel & Auto Harp(a personal favorite), and great lyrics.

the album Wolves & Thieves is an album I've been waiting to hear and so glad i got my grubby little mits on it. it will very well make it into my top 5 end of year albums for sure. watch out for this band if they ever make it to our green shores.

2010 off to a great start

so 2010 rolled in with no real big noise, that was until i got my hands dirty and started to see what was coming out in Jan/Feb - so far i've been overjoyed by the new Midlake Album, intrigued by The Magnetic Fields & rocked out to Yeasayer.
